Army of Death: Rules Debate!

Since I’m talking about the Army of Death mini-dex (instead of posting Ard Boyz list options), I thought you all might enjoy joining a BoLS rules argument debate. We have these on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis and this one in particular is… polarizing.
For those of you that know the background for Captain Tycho (Captain of the Blood Angels 3rd Company who succumbed to the Black Rage), we’ve updated him in the AoD mini-dex to have a very cool power that we like to call “I die, but you die with me, traitor!”.
The power is an homage to the amazing piece of fiction about the fall and death of Captain Tycho. If you are familar with it, good for you. If not, shame on you but I think you’ll get the idea.
Here’s the complete text of the rule from the Army of Death playtest rules:
“I die, but you die with me, traitor”: Instead of attacking with Tycho at his Initiative step, the Army of Death player may remove both Tycho and ANY single model in base contact with Tycho as casualties. Vehicles and walkers with a front armor value of 13 or less may also be affected by this power. There is no save from this ability and a model removed in this fashion may not return to the game under any condition, such as bionics or St. Celestine’s Miraculous Intervention ability.
The argument on my side is: “How cool is that?”
This is generally followed by Bigred’s “Dude, that’s way too tough. He can take out an unwounded Wraithlord.”
Which is handily rebutted by my “Exactly. How cool is that?”.
Although I think I clearly won the debate, I’d love to hear your opinions on the rule! Post your comments!
